Dawn of the Modern Age

Dawn of the Modern Age is a turn based strategy game in which you develop a nation and take it from the 19th to the 20th Century.

Play on a colorful world map drawn with a special routine from  government geodesic data.

Zoom to the state level to search for 29 different resources; build farms, mines, and timber operations; found cities; and connect it all with roads.

Zoom into your cities to develop them with residential areas, markets,  factories for 16 different products, hospitals, government centers, streets and more.  With research build electric power plants, water plants and phone companies and lay power lines, water pipes and phone wires. 

Every product, service or utility you provide your citizens not only generates revenue but also contributes to either:  population growth, worker productivity, transport capability, literacy and tech development or financial capability.

Build schools and research 23 different technologies in order to advance your civilization to a 20th Century standard of living and military.

Build a military with everything from spears and swords to tanks, M16's and howitzers to defend and expand your nation.
